what a show at Pd's man I love that bar.

I wrote down the set list, but left it there. 3 long rocking sets.

If someone picked it up, please post. Otherwise, I'll concoct a review based on my memory.

Tom, is there any chance of your sold out material making a comeback? I know I'm missing out on a ton of great music.

Message from Tom:
Thanks for asking Linda,
I'm not sure when I'll get around to that. I've been so busy recording. I keep getting requests though, so I may reissue some things in the near future.

A flute, yes a flute player sat in with Tom at Magoos last night.

A flute, a freaking flute.

It was cool, it was great, it was surreal.

That's why you can't miss a show, you never know what you'll miss. I wish I would have recorded it.

Tom,

As always, I enjoyed your set at the Leaf and Bean during my recent visit to Pittsburgh. Especially "Highway Patrolman." Like you, it has special meaning to me, and your rendition was inspiring. See you next visit,

Tom,

I wanted to say thanks for talking to me a bit between sets at the Leaf N Bean today. I have been listening to all 3 of the CD's I picked up today and they are incredible. You are one talented singer/songwriter. I had a great time and look forward to coming back down to see you in a few weeks. I will bring some of my friends down who will appreciate you as much as I did. You sort of gave me some major inspiration to pick up my accoustic and start playing/song writing again. I've had a tough year personally, and haven't played much, but I needed something like today to show me how much music can heal ya. I cant tell you enough how impressed I was with your set today. I love the harp too, you friggin nailed those tunes. Thanks again for taking the time to chat. I'll see ya again soon.....Dan.

P.S. - do you have that song about your buddy stacking smokes on the late shift on any of your CD's (late shift blues or somethin)? that was a killer tune!

Hey Tom,

I just want to thank you for another year of memorable shows of your great live music. I enjoyed every show at the Leaf & Bean - what a cool way to spend Saturday afternoons! I love to hear your songs acoustic. "Old Black Hearse" is my fave right now - what a surprise huh?
And I also love the rockin' full band shows with with Hard Rain and American Son.

I wish I was back in school and could attend one of your railroad town shows.
Those students are lucky and hopefully they learn from your music and stories.

Looking forward to another year of music and shows in 2007! Thanks also for your friendship. Happy Christmas and Merry New Year to you and your family!

Message from Tom:
Maria,
Thanks so much for the kind words. Janet, Jack and I wish you a Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you throughout 2007
Tom
